Terms of Use

Sun Connect is accessible only with valid Sun International SSO credentials. You may not share your account or credentials (AUP 4.3.1). Lock your computer when leaving it unattended (AUP 4.11.2).

You are responsible for all activity performed under your account (AUP 4.1.1 – 4.1.5). Per the policy: "Ignorance is not an excuse" — you are expected to know and follow the Acceptable Usage Policy.

All activities prohibited by AUP 4.2.1 are prohibited on Sun Connect, including unauthorised access, malicious code, harassment, and any unlawful conduct.

Information handled in Sun Connect must be treated according to its Sun International classification (Public, Internal, Confidential, Restricted). Do not paste Confidential or Restricted information into fields not intended for it.

Do not submit Sun International personal information, financial data, cardholder data, application source code, secrets, or Confidential information to unapproved SaaS or AI services. Only services approved by Sun IT and the Information Officer may process Sun data.

Sun International monitors use of its systems, including Sun Connect, to protect company and personal information and to investigate suspected policy breaches.

Access to Sun Connect ends when your Sun International employment or engagement ends, or earlier on breach of the Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP 4.11.6).

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
